Professional Development Opportunities

As an all-volunteer organization, we need your help to plan our events and present great content for our members. There are many ways you can contribute to the mission of NEACRAO and our profession:

  • Facilitate a session at a conference (short-term, low impact)
  • Attend our January Planning meeting to brainstorm about the following programming year (short-term, high impact)
  • Present a session at our conference (short-term, high-impact)

Annual Conference and Reverse College Day

Each year, NEACRAO sponsors a day and a half long conference for the benefit of its members. The Annual Conference includes sessions, a keynote speaker, the annual business meeting and election of officers, greetings and information from AACRAO and a social event, as well as an exhibit area for members to converse with vendors and discuss the latest technology.

George Coleman Scholarship

Each year, the New England Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers awards scholarships to three high school graduates who will be enrolling in a NEACRAO member institution for the fall semester of that year. Each high school graduate who is selected is awarded $2,000*. Each recipient of the scholarship is selected from candidates who are recommended by New England secondary school guidance professionals.
